Nuocef-T-1.125 Injection is a prescription antibacterial preparation that combines Ceftriaxone 1000 mg, a third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic, with Tazobactam 125 mg, a beta-lactamase inhibitor. • Skin and soft-tissue infections, including diabetic foot infections

• Surgical prophylaxis for selected procedures

Nuocef-T-1.125 should only be used when prescribed and after appropriate clinical assessment.

The dose and duration of Nuocef-T-1.125 are determined by the treating physician based on the type and severity of infection, the patient’s age, body weight, renal function and overall clinical status.

• Administered as IV infusion, slow IV bolus or deep IM injection
• Usually given once or twice daily depending on the indication
• The vial must be reconstituted with the supplied Sterile Water for Injection just before use
• Do not mix with calcium-containing IV solutions in the same line
• Complete the full prescribed course even if symptoms improve early

Self-administration is not appropriate. Dose adjustment may be required in patients with severe renal impairment.

Like all antibiotics, Nuocef-T-1.125 may cause side effects, though not everyone experiences them.

Common side effects:

• Pain, redness or swelling at the injection site

• Are receiving calcium-containing IV solutions or anticoagulants
• Have any chronic illness or are taking long-term medication

Use in neonates, particularly those with jaundice, requires special caution and is only undertaken by a physician.

Nuocef-T-1.125 may interact with certain medicines, such as:

• Calcium-containing intravenous solutions
• Oral anticoagulants (blood thinners)
• Aminoglycoside antibiotics (potential for additive nephrotoxicity)
• Probenecid (may affect drug excretion)
• Live bacterial vaccines (e.g., typhoid)

Always provide a complete list of current medicines, supplements and herbal products to your healthcare provider.

• Store the unopened vial below 25°C, protected from light and moisture
• Keep out of the reach of children
• Use the reconstituted solution immediately; do not store
• Discard any unused portion as per institutional protocol
